Rapp Bomek signs frame agreement with Statoil for After Sales and Service on Fire Doors

Rapp Bomek has signed a frame agreement with Statoil for supply of spare parts, replacement doors and all services related to Rapp Bomek fire doors on all onshore and offshore plants.

The main activities of the framework agreement are:

•             Preventive and corrective maintenance on fire doors

•             Modification on existing fire doors

•             Installation off (new) fire doors (incl. planning and engineering)

•             Delivery of replacement fire doors  

•             Delivery of spare parts

The agreement replaces the existing agreement that have been in effect for more than 10 years. The new agreement is a 5-year agreement with options for another 4 years, together a potential for 9 years. 

"This agreement is very important for Rapp Bomek as the company consolidates its position as a world leader in the global oil- and gas market for fire doors. For more than a decade, we have developed an excellent relationship with Statoil servicing their existing and new installations offshore as well as onshore. The continued support from Statoil, expressed by this agreement, provides a foundation for further development of the  company's After Sales and Service business," States Director Sales, Market and Service Per Arne Haug of Rapp Bomek.

The fact that Statoil continues to meet the strict safety regulations on the continental shelf, by among other measures, is engaging Rapp Bomeks products as well as our after sales services, confirms our competitiveness in delivering services critical for platform safety. Moving forward the company will utilize our strong position on the Norwegian Continental Shelf to expand our After Sales and Service business model outside our home market. The business case is now being evaluated and we will within 2016 make the decision for such an expansion," says CEO Terje Bøe at Rapp Bomek.
