The new National Museum

Rapp Bomek AS will provide security doors to the new National Museum in Oslo, Norway. It will be the largest art museum in the Nordic countries.
We have been a market leader in fire and safety doors primarily for the oil and gas industry. After taking strategic measures towards new markets earlier this year we have now secured a significant contract with AF Group for the delivery of security doors to the new National Museum.

Rapp Bomek will deliver 18 telescope shutters and 34 sliding doors to the project. The project is an EPCIC delivery, which means that Rapp Bomek delivers everything from design / engineering, through production, installation and preparation to operational phase.

According to www.statsbygg.no; the new National Museum will be the largest art museum in the Nordic region and one of the few buildings that can use the term FutureBuilt project. Being part of a FutureBuilt collaboration requires that the new national museum is a future-oriented building with environmentally friendly solutions that are durable over time. The new building will mark the National Museum as an art and cultural provider of international format and will be Norway's largest cultural building. The National Museum will open to the public in 2020 if everything goes according to plan.
